Ledbury Rotarians were recently treated to an evening "filled with amusement and information" when Jackie Harris gave a presentation on her time as an equine dentist.
Rotarian, Jan Long said: "Illustrating this fascinating job with the tools of her trade, such as probes, files, speculum with mirror, Jackie explained how to access the mandible and jaw.
"With the aid of a horse’s skull she showed the number of teeth in the jaw, usually numbering between 36 and 44 and the most common problems she had to deal with."
