Poppy appeal volunteer needed in Ledbury
The search is on for a volunteer to take over the Poppy Appeal/ Remembrance collection in Ledbury.
Sarah Jones, the community fundraiser for Herefordshire said: “Our current volunteer is retiring and we want to keep the Poppy Appeal collection going in Ledbury, if we can get a volunteer. This would involve distributing poppy collection boxes and wreaths. Each year Ledbury raises about £15,000 for the Poppy Appeal, this income is vital for us to continue supporting those who need us.”
