BREAK out that air guitar, strike the pose and hit that invisible power chord at Malvern Theatres.

The Classic Rock Show is returning to the UK for 2020, and Malvern will be an early stop, on January 15, at 7.45pm.

And leave the real playing to the folks on the stage, because they really know what they're doing.

In fact, the show has been described as 'the classic rock fan’s ultimate live jukebox'.

A spokesman said: "The Classic Rock Show returns to the UK in early 2020 with an amazing new live production celebrating the very best of the best of Classic Rock.

"Paying tribute to many of the world’s all time classic rock greats, The Classic Rock Show’s musicians power through legendary performances from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, AC/DC, Queen, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and The Who, plus much much more."

But what about those power chords?

The spokesman added: The numbers are performed with note-for-note precision, bringing the original iconic and era defining recordings back to life on stage, with a sound and light show to match.

"Anthem after anthem, riff after riff and solo after solo, The Classic Rock Show takes you on a musical journey through two and a half hours of Classic Rock’s finest moments culminating in a show-stopping guitar duel that is definitely not to be missed."

In fact, organisers say you'll want to sing along to this "real gem of a rock show" and so "a sore throat is guaranteed".

The band includes Wayne Banks (bass); James Cole (guitar, vocals); Jesse Smith (guitar, vocals); Peter Thorn (guitar, vocals); Jess Harwood (vocals, keyboard); Karl Penny (drums); Rudy Cardenas (vocals), and Henry Burnett (keyboard, vocals).

Malvern will be the first stop for a New Year tour that takes in many other locations including London, Birmingham and Edinburgh.
