WARNING: Smart Water as a deterrent
Smart water kits to help protect cherished and valuable items will be free to Wellington Heath residents in the New Year.
The kits normally cost around £20 and will be free to all in the village, courtesy of the Police Commissioner and Wellington Heath Parish Council.
The kits will made available at the annual 'Newcomers Gathering' at the Memorial Hall next year.
The gathering is a village tradition, at which residents who have arrived at the village during the past year get to meet and chat with longstanding residents.
