Cricketing legend David Gower will be visiting The Courtyard next week to entertain audiences with stories and anecdotes from his sporting career.
Often described as one of the most stylish left-handed batsmen of all time, the blonde haired 80s bombshell promises to share his thoughts on this year’s Cricket World Cup and The Ashes as well as tales from captaining his national team to victory in The Ashes and flying that Tiger Moth over Queensland.
Having recently announced that he was ‘being retired’ by Sky Sports from his long career as ‘the voice of cricket’, Hereford audiences are in for a treat as David extends his spring tour into autumn this year due to popular demand.
Gower was one of the most capped and high scoring players during his time playing and his career run total is still the fourth highest of any English player.
Audiences can catch David Gower at The Courtyard on Tuesday, October 8 and for an extra £7.95 can upgrade their ticket to enjoy Prosecco and sweet canapés during the interval.
David Gower: On The Front Foot will be at The Courtyard on Tuesday, October 8 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
