CODDINGTON man, David Hodgson is back to winning ways when it comes to stirring up a treat.
He just missed out on gold, earning himself a silver at the recent 14th Annual Marmalade Competition, which took place at Dalemain Mansion in Cumbria
Mr Hodgson was up against stiff competition, because almost 3000 other jars were in the competition.
But Mr Hodgson is used to winning ways.
A retired meat inspector and butcher, in the 1990's he won the Three Counties Pie Championship with a home made game pie.
And he won several awards for sausages and supplied celebrity chef Gary Rhodes with sausages for his London restaurant
