As always, the event will be the single biggest one-day event during Ledbury’s calendar year, bringing huge crowds of fun-seekers to the town centre.

The procession will leave the Rugby Club on Ross Road at noon, before proceeding up New Street, left onto the High Street, along The Homend, left down Orchard Lane to Ledbury Primary School.

The estimated time of arrival in the High Street is around 12.35pm to 12.45pm.

The theme of the LedFest Carnival will be a celebration of festivals in general, from Glastonbury to religious festivals, "and everything in-between".

A spokesman said: "There will be children, adults and pets running and walking about in all areas of Ledbury. Be extra vigilant, have patience and take extra care to avoid any kind of accident."

The Full Pitcher roundabout will be closed from around 12.05pm to 12.20pm while the procession passes through.

St Katherine’s, Bye Street and Lawnside Road car parks will be closed for public parking from 6am to 8pm on Carnival Day.

The spokesman said: "Please remove parked cars from the car parks by 6am."

Limited parking will be available in Bridge Street car park.
