LEDBURY is getting ready for the single biggest event on it's annual calendar, the town's Carnival which will bring thousands of people to the streets on Bank Holiday Monday.

This year's theme is "A Novel Idea" and procession floats and walkers will embrace this by finding inspiration from favourite books.

The Market Town's 43rd Carnival will take place on Monday, August 28, with the grand procession leaving Ledbury Rugby Club on the Ross Road at noon, before travelling up New Street and turning left into the High Street, at around 12.35pm.

Other attractions will include live music, street entertainment, and stalls.
