RECORD spinners from the county’s corners will converge at a Hereford nightclub - even if the world ends.
If the Mayan Calendar’s Long Count has correctly predicted the end of civilization then club promoter Guy di Guy says the Jailhouse is the perfect place to “celebrate” the occasion.
Guy has organised “The End of the World Party” for Saturday night - hours after the Mayan calendar finishes.
“Basically the world could end or it might not,” added Guy.
“Either way are you going to take the risk of being sat at home watching telly as the final meteor strikes into the earth’s crust, ending it all for us in an instant and finishing us like the dinosaurs we are?
“No don't do that as that’s distinctively anti-social. Get down to the Jailhouse for the best party to end the world with instead. ”
The Plump DJs are the headliners on the night, bringing a set of beats, electro, breaks and everything bass culture related.
Support comes from Bromyard’s electric man Dex and Symonds Yat bass blaster Windy.
Completing the county mix is Guy himself, known from playing records in Hereford and the Golden Valley.
