A mixed trade with some pens well sought after, while others were more difficult. The overall average however was £168.28 per pair, selling to £178 for both dark faced Welsh Mule hoggs with Beltex cross lambs at foot from A George and Son, Gilfachrhiw and Texel cross hoggs with Beltex cross lambs at foot from B J and My Davies, Gorse Farm. An entry of quality commercial Saler cross heifers with calves at foot from J Bufton and son, Llanhedry averaged £1868.75 selling to £2050 for a Saler cross heifer with Saler cross heifer calf at foot. Saler cross bulling heifers from the same home averaged £855 per head, selling to £900 per head.
