THOUGH not yet open a year, the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust's Ledbury shop is thriving and new manager Sarah is keen to see it go from strength to strength.

Selling donated goods and a range of wildlife gifts, cards and bird food, the shop also acts as a hub for the Wildlife Trust where you can find out more about their work.

With plenty of previous retail experience with other charities, Sarah is already busy getting to know volunteers, donors and customers.

Sarah comments: "Ledbury is such a great town with a wonderful sense of community so I'm really pleased to be working here. The shop is raising money for Herefordshire Wildlife Trust's work across the county - looking after nature reserves, landscapes and wildlife - which is a cause I'm really passionate about. There's a fantastic team of volunteers in the shop who are really supportive though we are keen to recruit more if anyone is interested in getting involved. We're a friendly bunch!"

The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm and from 11am to 3pm on Sundays and welcomes donations any time.
