ROSS Roadies held their 21st Classic and Vintage Vehicle Road Run on August Bank Holiday Monday, based at their new venue Jo's Diner by the side of the A40 north bound at Whitchurch.

The new site proved very popular with the many established entries, as well as the new entries joining in on the day.

The cars etc. passed through the Forest of Dean before reaching Chepstow and returning along the Wye Valley via Tintern, whilst the tractors travelled along the many byroads, before drivers returned to Jo's Diner for a bite to eat, and take part in another amazing raffle.

The Best Presented Tractor Shield in memory of Les Jenkins, was then presented by Pat Powell to this year's winner Nigel Hantschar from Hereford with his 1952 Ferguson TED20 (this tractor rather amazingly in 2011, was part of a group who travelled the length of Britain from John O'Groats to Lands End for charity).

Profits from this event, together with monies raised at this years Easter Monday event, will be donated to our charity of choice, the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
