THE next meeting of the Herefordshire Health Service Retirement Fellowship (HHSRF) will be held on Monday at 2pm in the St John's Methodist Hall, St Owen Street, Hereford.

This month's guest speaker will be Pete Tomlinson, who will be giving his presentation on adoption and fostering of children. It will be interesting to learn about the process involved in today's modern society.

Last month's charity tea party to raise essential funds for Megan Baker House was a huge success - Margaret Samuels won the best dressed prize for the Royal Sapphire theme in honour of the Queen's Sapphire Jubilee of 65 years on the throne.

Members are joining the Hereford Amblers, for the next walk on Thursday, September, 21. They will meet with Ros Milner at the Royal Oak, Bromyard Downs, at 10am. The walk is approximately three and a half miles walking over the Downs, followed by lunch. Friends, family and well behaved dogs are welcome to join in.

If you are retired and have worked for the NHS, you are most welcome to come along to the meetings, which are held on the third Monday of the month, between 2pm - 4pm in the St John's Methodist Hall, St Owen Street, Hereford HR1 2PR.

Member's guests are also very welcome to join them at any of the meetings, trips or events and enjoy some refreshments.

For any enquiries, please contact Mrs Helen Taylor, chairman, on telephone 01432 344078.
