ENTHUSIASTIC young rugby players from Knighton have received a boost from Knighton and District Rotary Club to help towards the purchase of shorts for the under eights and under 10s, and tag-belts for the under sixes.
Head coach of the under sevens and under eights, Daren Hipgrave, was very appreciative of the donation and said "We warmly welcome all players from the age of six upwards and equipment is crucial to the growth and development of both the club and the juniors.
"Many thanks to the Rotary Club members for their generosity."
Incoming Rotary Club president Ivan Jones added "Knighton Rotary Club members are keen advocates of local sports and family activities, as well as supporting local charities in the Knighton area".
