CHILDREN at St Peter's Primary School, Bromyard recently enjoyed a special themed week to celebrate The Arts.
During the week beginning May 21 pupils were joined by a group of puppeteers from the Methodist Church in Bromyard; learnt how to rap with Rhyme and Shine rap artist Rob Bradley; went on a virtual reality journey into space; were thrilled by the sounds of Hereford Fanfare Trumpets and experienced a day of workshops at Hay Festival.
The highlight of the week was a whole school art project led by Batik artists Edi and Manu Song.
All pupils (Nursery - Year 6) contributed in some way to the beautiful Batik art work - this year's theme - Through The Window.
The school would like to thank all visiting artists who helped the staff and pupils of St Peter's Primary School to value and celebrate creativity through a variety of hands-on workshops.
