THE weather held out for the Engaging Communities event in Hereford High Town on May 29.

This is now in its 4th year.

The event is designed for the people of Herefordshire to access help and support in times of need and or crisis.

The event also incorporates ideas for getting people active and celebrating our emergency services.

The Good Vibrations choir from Deaf Direct performed through out the day as did 2 Faced dance group who also held dance lessons.

There were also hoola hoop classes from throughout the day.

Groups offering support included the Diabetes Group, Macmillan, Crohns and Colitis, Breast Cancer Haven, Parkinsons and Health Visiting and there were opportunities for people to express an interest in volunteering.

There were children's groups, adult groups and all those in between. This was only made possible by the generous sponsorship from Rhodius and Logistics by KAM Windows.
