TWO Boots' chemists in Herefordshire have been forced to close today, the chain has confirmed.

Boots, which has shops in Hereford, Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye, said that it was due to unforeseen circumstances that two of its chemists were closed on Tuesday.

The chain did not elaborate on what those circumstances were.

OTHER NEWS:

The shop in Hereford's High Street is still closed but is expected to reopen on Wednesday at its normal time of 8am.

The shop in Ross-on-Wye, in Market Place, was also closed for a time on Tuesday but has since reopened.

A Boots spokesperson said: “Our Hereford High Street and Ross-on-Wye Market Place stores temporarily closed this morning due to unforeseen circumstances.

OTHER NEWS:

"We can confirm that our Ross-on-Wye store has reopened this afternoon and is trading as normal, and our Hereford High Street store will reopen tomorrow (Wednesday, March 30) at our normal opening hours.

"We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
