HEREFORD'S Nando's will not be opening this weekend after coronavirus cases forced the restaurant to close.

In a notice posted on the Old Market development restaurant's door, potential diners were informed that due to positive coronavirus cases and staff isolation, the restaurant would be remaining closed until Tuesday, July 27.

"Apologies for any inconvenience caused and we look forward to seeing you all again soon," the restaurant said.

It is just one of a number of businesses in the county which has been affected by a rising number of coronavirus cases after lockdown was lifted and the subsequent "pingdemic", which has forced many workers to self-isolate after coming into contact with positive coronavirus cases.
