A DISCOUNT shop chain is opening a new store in Hereford, and it is now hiring staff to work there.
The Original Factory Shop, which already has stores in Leominster and Ross-on-Wye, has announced it will open a new branch in Grandstand Road.
The shop, which will be inside the Coop supermarket, said it was "thrilled" to announce the plan.
The Original Factory Shop, founded in 1969, said it offers up to 70 per cent off big-name brands such as Nike, Adidas and Trespass.
Advertising jobs at the new store, the chain said: "We are currently looking to recruit sales colleagues (12 hour part time contract).
"As a sales colleague you will be working to deliver a great daily experience to our customers. You will assist customers, process and merchandise stock and operate the till.
"Whether front-of-store or behind-the-scenes, this role demands a real commitment to customer service and the ability to work within a team who are all working towards the same store goals."
The chain added that it will have a "number of things in place to help keep customers and colleagues safe", including limiting customer numbers, sanitising stations, strict cleaning routine, screens at tills and workers will have personal protective equipment.
The shop is expected to open in July.
