A NEW Herefordshire tourism marketing company is set to put the county on the national map next week.

Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire will be hosting a stand at the British Tourism & Travel Show at Birmingham’s NEC between March 16 and 17.

The tourism and leisure destination marketing company is promoting Herefordshire nationwide to help people find places to eat, sleep and live life to the full while visiting the county.

The stand at the NEC will be the only one branding Herefordshire as a destination, and will be a giving away goodie bags with Herefordshire products inside including locally made chocolates, cordials and hop confetti.

Launched in August 2015, ESL is the creation of Heidi Chamberlain-Jones and a subsidiary of her already established business development consultancy Minx Media Ltd.

She said: "We’re very excited to represent beautiful Herefordshire in this way.

"Tourism is worth more than £400 million to Herefordshire’s economy and is a major employment sector for the county as well as a main player in rural business diversity. "With no government funding available, ESL is purely supported by its members and these numbers are continually growing, enabling us to deliver valuable marketing activities to bring visitors and awareness to Herefordshire.”
