A LEOMINSTER construction business is looking to expand.

Leominster Construction is seeking permission to extend its industrial building on Southern Road, having outgrown its current unit.

The business, which makes steel framed buildings predominantly for industrial, commercial and agricultural use, says the proposed extension would amount to 494m squared.

The existing building footprint amounts to 721m squared.

In its design and access statement, submitted to Herefordshire Council, the firm said it had outgrown its existing fabrication workshop and needed more of a covered area.

Should its plans be approved, it could also mean the business could add to its workforce, which is currently made up on 13 employees, in the future.
