SERVICES -The Harvest Festival service at St Mary’s is tomorrow (Friday) at 7pm. A painting by Hereford artist Peter Manders featuring a tractor carrying hay bales past the church will be included in the autumn edition, out today, of Herefordshire Society magazine. A patronal festival together with thanksgiving for harvest will be held on Sunday at 11am in the church of S. Cosmas and St. Damian, Stretford. The guest speaker will be Meriel Oliver.
CHIMNEY -There will be an Information meeting at the Cedar Hall tonight at 7.30pm to discuss Tyrrells’ application for planning permission for a 26 metre high chimney on the factory site.
