PIANIST Alexander Taylor makes a welcome return to the Wye Valley this Sunday with an afternoon performance at St Briavels.
His programme begins with a Bach Partita, contrasted against some of Shostakovitch's short preludes.
The period and mood change after the interval to music by Brahms, Grieg and Liszt.
Since he last performed for the society five years ago, Alex has given recitals at the major concert halls of Europe and Japan as well as having played concertos with the BBC Symphony Orchestras and appeared in leading music festivals.
Tickets for the concert will be available on the door at 3pm (£12/£9/£2).
