A young woman was airlifted to hospital after a two-car collision near St Weonards on the A466.
The 20-year-old driver was taken for treatment to a suspected hip injury after being freed by firefighters.
The Nissan hatchback and a Toyata estate collided yesterday at 10am and an eight-year-old child was also taken to hospital by ambulance.
Crews from Hereford an Whitchurch used heavy rescue gear to free the woman.
