PARISH PLAN - On July 2, people interested in taking an active role in preparing the parish plan met at Clehonger Village Hall.
Sophie Pryce from Community Led Planning outlined the next steps needed. This included selecting three officers: Alison Davies (chairman), Carole Protherough (secretary) and Philip Moore (treasurer). The next meeting of the full steering group will be on August 6 at 7.30pm. It is hoped that everyone of all ages in Clehonger and the surrounding area will contribute ideas and in the meantime anyone wishing to join in planning the process and giving a hand in any way is most welcome to join in.
VILLAGE HALL - The annual general meeting of Clehonger Village Hall will be held on July 20, at 7.30pm to elect a committee for 2012/13, report on the year’s progress and receive feedback from the public and suggestions for the future.
TUESDAY CLUB - Meets at 3.30pm in Clehonger Village Hall. Upcoming activities: next Tuesday Creating a food co-operative; July 24 outing to Broome Farm, Peterstow, for cream tea and cider (meet at village hall at 2.30pm); July 31, poetry.
