BOWLING - Saturday is Weobley and District Bowling Club open day, 10.30am-4pm. Stalls with cakes, plants, books and tombola. Food and drinks will be available at small charge.

CHURCHES TOGETHER - On Sunday, everyone is invited to meet in the centre of the village at 10.15am to process together to Weobley Church where all denominations are welcome to join a 10.30am united service.
The church will be open over the Jubilee weekend where visitors will receive a warm welcome. As part of the service, pictures and photographs of Weobley activities past and present will be shown. Followed by a parade from the church to Broad Street for a flag raising with the Royal British Legion in the lead followed by uniformed youth organisations then the congregation. STREET PARTY - Sunday, 12.30pm-3pm, Broad Street in the centre of Weobley. Have fun with family, friends and neighbours - bring your own chair to sit on, food and drink – tables will already be set up. There will be a children’s wacky relay and slow bike races (if first aider available) and music.
JUBILEE HERITAGE TRAIL - Sunday, 3pm, is the ribbon cutting (at the bus stop) of the Weobley ‘Jubilee’ Heritage Trail by Prebendary Bob King with an opportunity for families to take part in a Heritage Trail treasure hunt.
OPEN GARDENS - On Monday, a chance to view 13 different gardens in Weobley. Half will be open 10am-1pm and half 2pm-5pm.
Refreshments will be available in some gardens and entry is free but contributions welcome for a charity of the owner’s choice.

CEILIDH - Monday, 6.30 pm at Hopelands Village Hall. Dance to the music of the everpopular Bandemonium. No experience needed.
Entry is £5 adults £2.50 children, which includes a burger or hot dog and a pudding.

JUBILEE BEACON - On Monday at 10.15pm at Hopelands Village Hall, be part of the chain when 2,012 beacons will be lit across the UK and abroad to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
RAFFLE - The Weobley Corn Dollies’ jubilee raffle raised £800 for Save the Children, Weobley jubilee celebrations and prizes for a poster competition for pupils at Weobley High School – the latter won by 11-year-old Ollie Parker.
