PARISH COUNCIL - On Wednesday, the parish council will hold the annual parish meeting at 7pm in the village hall. The council’s own annual meeting will then follow at 7.30pm.
All parishioners are welcome to attend.
TWO COFFEE MORNINGS - There will be a coffee morning at the Old Rectory on May 11 to help to raise funds for the village celebrations to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
John and Mary Caiger, supported by the PCC, are holding this party from 10.30am to 12.30pm with a bring-and-buy stall. On Saturday, May 12, Stoke Lacy Gardening Club will be holding a coffee morning and plant sale in Stoke Lacy Church, 10am to noon. An added attraction will be the recent installed library at the back of the church.
WI - On Friday, May 11, the Women’s Institute will meet in the village hall at 7.30pm. Kathryn Parker will demonstrate the art of present wrapping for a special occasion.
The competition will be a small arrangement of spring flowers.
