JUBILEE - Dormington, Mordiford and Checkley Community Diamond Jubilee Celebrations include Hereford Police Male Voice Choir in concert with Mordiford School Choir in Mordiford Church on June 2, 7pm to 8.45pm followed by refreshments in the school. Tickets are £7.50 adult, child £4. The community, in conjunction with Canoe Hire, is holding a canoe flotilla on the Wye from Badger’s Crossing and up the Lugg to Garland’s Farm on June 3, meeting at the school at 9am. Maximum three persons per canoe. Tickets are £10 adult, child £5. A full safety briefing will be given prior to departure.

The Dragons of Mordiford are issuing a tugof- war challenge to any team of five (plus a coach) to pull them from their station. The Dragons are also issuing a skittles challenge for a team of five to beat them over five legs.
