LENT LUNCH - Tomorrow (Friday), at noon, there will be a Lent lunch at Wanaki, Burley Gate (next to the Post Office). The host will be Audrey Nunn. No fixed price for admission but donations will go to severely disabled children in Afghanistan. There will also be a slideshow featuring a recent visit to that country.
MOTHS - On Saturday, from 7pm, Paul and Jo Morton will be holding an event devoted to the trapping and identification of an amazing variety of moths in Moreton Wood at Ullingswick. Later there will be a chance to relax with hot drinks around the bonfire.
