LENT LUNCH - Janet Parker will be holding a Lent lunch at Sollars Hill, Stoke Lacy, from noon to 2pm next Thursday, March 8. No fixed charge, but donations to Marie Curie Nurses will be welcomed. There will also be a bring-and-buy stall.
WI - Much Cowarne WI will meet in Stoke Lacy Village Hall at 7.30pm on March 9. The guest speaker will be Janice Waldron, talking all about pearls.
COFFEE - The next coffee morning at Stoke Lacy Church will be on March 10, from 10am to noon, hosted by Village Bells and the Monday Ringers. There will be an opportunity for everyone to try their hand at bell-ringing, and quality buns are guaranteed.
CRASH - A vehicle was involved in an accident at Stoke Lacy. Emergency services were called just after 6.15am on Friday.
There were no reports of any serious injuries.
