WELLINGTON dominated this West Midlands League Premier Division game in tems of possession but failed to score the goals which mattered.
Shifnal scored with their first shot on goal and then added a second just before the interval with a deflected shot after Wellington keeper Dan Tecza had pulled off a good save.
Matt Williams was denied in a one-on-one situation just before the break and the Wellington chances continued to flow in the second period with Jones frustrated by a bad bounce when well placed and Dale Withers shooting over from a good position.
