A well-trodden path in Hay-on-Wye has been vastly improved.
With funding from the Welsh Government and the Countryside Council for Wales, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority has carried out a programme of major work on the Bailey Walk footpath along the banks of the River Wye in Hay.
Almost 250 metres of timber barrier has been installed to protect the path from slipping towards the river and several dead trees have been removed.
