CONCERT - There will be a concert by Hereford Chamber Choir at St Mary’s Church at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 3. It will include music by Purcell, Brahms, Rutter, Gilbert and Sullivan, Bernstein, Gershwin and Fats Waller. The organist will be Douglas Tang. Tickets are £7.50 including refreshments.

GARDENERS’ ASSOCIATION - Guest speaker John Robinson gave a talk and slide show at the February meeting entitled A Natural History of the Wyre Forest. John was senior warden of the Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve for 26 years and presented some stunning slides of flora and wildlife whilst giving a very humorous and informative talk.
New members are always welcome. To join in a taster evening, it meeta every second Tuesday of the month in the Community Centre at 7.30pm. The next meeting is on March 13, when speaker Micheal Leech talks about a number of less well known national gardens. For more information, call secretary Len Day on 01432 880657.
