Members of Llanfairwaterdine WI Pat Buckley, Margaret Clugston, Ve McKay and Mary Morgan by one of the scarecrows that will be on display on Saturday plus another that is their entry into the competition that is in the process of being made.
THIS year's Llanfair Wakes will take place on Saturday at 2.30pm on the Joan Adams Field and in the Everest Hall, Llanfairwaterdine.
This year there will be a scarecrow competition which hopefully will have a large number of entries, a craft, cookery and horticultural show, children’s fancy dress, Wakes cakes for sale, children’s races, dog show, children’s fun area, children’s toys and other stalls, Fairfield miniature railway, refreshments other competitions and attractions.
From 4pm there will be a barbecue and bar and rounders competition and musical entertainment from 5pm.
