FRIDAY CLUB - The next meeting of the club will be at Bridge Farm, Almeley, by invitation of Olive Morgan, at 3pm till 4.30pm on September 2. This event, will be combined with the monthly church fund raiser, the last of which was attended by 17 ladies at the home of Margaret Smith at Woonton.
CRAFT CLUB - Last week the Almeley crafters were very busy each day at the Eardisley festival. Their next public appearance will be in the village hall as part of the village fete which takes place on Spearmarsh Common and the village hall on August 21, starting at 2pm.
