PARISH COUNCILS - Parish meetings for Ocle Pychard, Felton and Ullingswick will be held at Burley Gate Village Hall on Tuesday at the earlier time of 7pm and will be followed by Ocle Pychard group’s annual and monthly meetings. Parishioners are welcome to attend and will be given an opportunity to raise matters of concern. Following a walk through the parish with highways engineers, it has been confirmed that repairs to the roads through Felton and to the A417 have been pencilled in for later in the year. Details of a number of defects in other areas have been reported but may not be repaired in the current year.
The annual parish meetings for Much Cowarne and Moreton Jefferies will also be held on Tuesday at 7pm in Burley Gate Village Hall. This will be followed at 7.30pm by the Much Cowarne Group Parish Council annual and monthly meetings. Members of the parishes are very welcome to attend to raise any issues that concern them.
SALE - The annual Much Cowarne plant sale will be held at Much Cowarne Church at 6.30pm on May 20. Entrance free and refreshments available. Donations are welcome and can be offered to Marlene on 01432 820282.
