HAY fever is already starting to emerge after Britain’s favourite DJ waxed lyrical about the book town’s annual literary event this morning.
Radio 2 presenter Chris Evans told listeners of his excitement at returning to Hay Festival following his appearance in 2010.
He also launched a new short story competition for under 13s as part of the festival’s junior Hay Fever section and told youngsters the 500 Words contest wanted stories of the same length or less to be submitted before World Book day in March.
