PRINCE William’s engagement lifted the nation’s spirits at the end of a difficult year last November, but Herefordshire has cause for a double celebration – as it starts a new one with its very own ‘Wills and Kate’ love story.
Just like their famous counterparts, love blossomed for Hereford resident William Lloyd and his partner Kate Baddeley, who is from Wolverhampton, at university and will now also culminate in a 2011 wedding.
The 25-year-old, who is a senior sales negotiator with city estate agent Connells, enrolled on the same course as his primary teacher fiancee at Chester College and four years on he started Christmas Day 2010 on bended knee, at home in Belmont.
