Weobley Primary School has been given an award-winning garden.

Tyrrells was awarded a silver guilt medal for its “harvest celebration garden” at the Hampton Court Flower Show and wanted pupils at the school to benefit from it.

“Creating a garden at Hampton Court for the first time involved a tremendous amount of teamwork and effort so we were delighted when the teachers at Weobley warmly accepted our offer of the garden for their playground,” said Cath White, marketing manager at Tyrrells.

“They have done a fantastic job of recreating the garden, with more than 1,000 plants, 10 trees and a pergola all carefully placed.

“We look forward to hearing how the green fingers in Weobley are getting on.”
