A HEREFORD school was repeatedly broken into and vandalised over a two-day period.
Burglars stole expensive musical equipment and vandals smashed 19 sky-lights and five windows at Whitecross High School over the weekend of January 28 and 29.
Police believe a Yamaha and a Fender Squire guitar, along with two Yamaha keyboards, a Marshall amplifier and a Grundig cassette player were taken in three separate raids.
Officers said burglars also took a HP laptop computer, two Fuji digital cameras and a small quantity of cash from the school off Baggallay Street.
PC Mark Jones said: "I would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in or around the school grounds.
"Several people are believed to be involved and there may be others who know who is responsible for the damage and the burglaries."
Anyone with information should contact PC Jones on 08457 444888.
