STUDENTS from Lady Hawkins' Sixth Form in Kington took part in a 24-hour charity sport marathon.
A total of 22 students played football, hockey, curling, badminton, quick cricket and basketball throughout the day and night.
Lady Hawkins' staff supported the event and the Co-operative Supermarket in Kington supplied food for supper.
The students raised over £800 for Whizz Kidz, who raise funds for the movement of non-mobile children.
The money will go towards supplying a disabled child with an electronic wheelchair.
"All of the students were totally exhausted at the end and delighted that they had not only survived the 24 hours, but also raised so much money for such a good cause," said the school's David Hughes.
