THEY say that good things come to those wait - and whoever 'they' are, they couldn't have been more right last weekend.
The great and good of the world's dance DJs and live acts came together to party at Global Gathering, at Long Marston Airfield near Stratford-on-Avon.
Although high security meant that revellers were queuing for hours just to get their tents up, the amazing atmosphere inside the arenas soon meant all problems were forgotten.
As steam rose from the sell-out crowds, DJs played tunes for all dance tastes, from grimey hip-hop to foot stomping hardcore.
It was a weekend of highlights - DJ Yoda combining Sinatra with Biggy Smalls; Paul Van Dyke's uplifting essential mix; Adam Freeland's unbeatable breaks set, which saw him coming down off the stage to much handshaking and hugging from fans.
