A PLAN to build homes on land behind a Leominster hotel has met opposition from the town council.
Councillors are objecting to plan by the Royal Oak to demolish derelict garaging and outbuildings to make way for three new dwellings.
Councillors say: "The proposal would be overdevelopment of the existing site with a conflict of parking amenities with the adjacent hotel. Parking provision for the development is insufficient."
John Brooks, the hotel's general manager, said the owners did not want to comment.
