Ledbury Ladies kept their unbeaten home record intact for a second year running when they devastated Darlaston in the last home fixture of the season.

LEDBURY LADIES 11, DARLASTON 1

Darlaston lying sixth in the league were destroyed with a fine attacking display by the Ladies. As early as the second minute Eve Greenhouse finished off a four pass attack to open the scoring showing their opponents why the Ladies are top of the league.

Their excellent footballing skills shone through with lethal effect. Darlaston, taken aback, finally came into action but the Ladies defence were up to the challenge. Margo scored some fine goals with Eve netting a good header to end the first half.

The second half was the same as the first except that Darlaston added to their misery by putting the ball into their own goal. Hayley Presley for Ledbury showed them how to really do it with a superb 20yard goal with Karina making it seven from a corner.

Ledbury were on a charge with Eve and Karina scoring again but Darlaston not to be outdone scored two goals, one a header into their own net, then they finally found the Ladies' net with a breakaway goal. Ledbury made it 11 when Margo scored late in the half.

Eve Greenhouse was made Player of the Match by the referee.

Ledbury Ladies are now top of Division One South with two more league games to go.

The County Cup game against Kidderminster Harriers is on Tuesday, April 18 and the coach leaves Ledbury Town FC at 6pm.
