Colwall and Eastnor Cricket Clubs have a bye in the opening round of this year's Wadworth 6X National Village Championships.
In the second round, due to be played on Sunday, May 14, last year's Worcestershire, Herefordshire & Powys group champions Colwall, play hosts to Garnons while Eastnor have to visit Brockhampton.
Colwall gets its season underway with two club games, Evesham tomorrow (Saturday) and Kempsey on Sunday.
Colwall will host a number of Minor County games this season with Hereford Minor Counties having a pre-season practise game on Thursday (April 20) and on Sunday, April 23, Hereford Minor Counties play a Glamorgan XI at Ghost Meadow.
Colwall Cricket Club pre-season parents and junior players meeting will be at the Clubhouse on Wednesday (April 19) at 6.45pm.
The purpose of the meeting will be to meet the team managers for each age group and make a start on registration. Weather permitting there will be an opportunity to practice on the outfield.
