LEDBURY DUPLICATE BRIDGE CLUB
The AGM of the Club was held on April 19. Following the presentation of the accounts and the Chaimans review of the year, the incumbent officers were re-elected for a further year and Mary Clayburn, Joy Morgan & Steve Clegg agreed to serve in place of the retiring committee members. Trophies were then presented to the 1999/2000 Club Champions
In the competition which followed, Doreen Sallis & Margaret Westbrook were in first position N/S scoring 63.62. The other leading pairs were : Mira & John Davies, 58.26; Malcolm Dorsett & Brian Kingsley, 57.81; Joan & Chris Mason, 57.43. The E/W winners were Heather Brace & Ken Nelson with 58.20 and they were followed by : Jean & Alan Groves, 56.97; Keith Berry & Arthur Jones, 55.94; Margaret & Michael Simpson, 54.92.
Members should note that the next Teams event will be held on May 3.
