CRICKET league fixtures for county clubs were all abandoned on Saturday with pitches waterlogged after heavy rainfall in the week.
But Steve Jones made a bright start to the season when he scored a century in a friendly on Sunday. Jones blasted 11 sixes and fours fours in his 105 for Kington Sunday Xl in a 132-run victory over his former club, Almeley.
