THE cowboys and cowgirls have been rounded up to put on Rodgers and Hammerstein's most popular musical - Oklahoma!
Larruperz Light Opera is staging the toe-tapping performance at Ross-on-Wye's Larruperz Centre, May 4 to May 6 at 7.30pm.
Hit songs like 'Oh What a Beautiful Morning' and 'People Will Say We're In love' are sure to be worthy of a standing ovation.
Producer Alison Jennings is confident that the three nights will be a big success.
"It's Rodgers and Hammerstein's most amusing show, being full of warm and witty characters and plenty of belly laughs," she said.
The new Millennium has been a busy year for the Light Opera. Its Mother Goose pantomime was a crowd magnet in January. 'Oklahoma!' will be followed by Lionel Bart's masterpiece 'Oliver!' in October.
