HEREFORDSHIRE has a Royal appointment this Monday when Princess Anne arrives to open two county projects.

At 10am, HRH the Princess Royal will visit Leominster to launch 'Dale 2000' - the brainchild of constructional engineers Frank H Dale.

She will be officially opening the new office block and factory development at Mill Street and unveil a plaque to mark her visit.

Many of the firm's customers and suppliers will attend the event, with the opportunity to see the extensive modern factory and its processing plant.

Then in the afternoon she will officially open the new centre for rural crafts at Holme Lacy College in Hereford.

The £1.5 million development will provide the largest farriery and blacksmith-training centre in the country.

It will have a work area of 1900 square metres consisting of classrooms, conference areas and three large workshops.

During the ceremony the princess will unveil a specially created plaque to commemorate the opening.
