BELL Inn 98 and Fromes Hill book their place in the semi-finals of the Senior Cup following victories in last Sunday's ties, however LTFC 2000 will have to wait a little longer to find out their opponents after Portobello United and Morgan's fixture succumbed to the elements.

Morgan Aero 8 started the game well against Bell Inn 98 at Bosbury by scoring the opening goal through Mike Griffin, however the home side equalized with a Tony Reynolds effort to leave the game evenly balanced at half-time with the score at 1-1.

In the second period goals from Dave Brocklesby, Paul Fletcher and a further strike from Tony Reynolds gave Bell a 4-1 victory to reach the semi-finals for the second year in succession.

Their opponents will be Fromes Hill who defeated Talbot Head at The Hill Centre, Upton on a very hard ground. The early chances fell to Talbot Head who started the brighter of the two sides, however they only made their possession count after a walk-about by the Fromes Hill keeper gave Conrad Arnold a straight forward goal shooting in to an empty net after 20 minutes. Opportunities did fall to Fromes Hill and Shaun Taylor looked lively for the away team on numerous occasions, as Fromes Hill got back in to the game it was Peter Scriven who headed in from a corner with five minutes of the first half remaining to equalize.

In the second half, Fromes Hill started to open up the Talbot Head defence and some good work by James Howard set up Shaun Taylor to give the away side a 2-1 advantage. On 65 minutes they extended their lead again through Taylor after some good movement saw him slot the ball home.

James Howard turned scorer minutes later with an individual breakaway goal from the half-way line to take a 4-1 lead. This game wasn't over and Talbot Head were awarded a penalty with 15 minutes remaining and Mark Robinson smashed the ball into net to reduce the deficit. Talbot Head now put some pressure on the Fromes Hill defence and were unlucky not to reduce the arrears once more but for a clearance of the line. Fromes Hill however were rewarded with a penalty of their own after a trip in the area and James Howard scored his second of the game to leave the final score 2-5 and another away trip to meet Bell Inn 98 in March.

In League action Callow End Harriers were on their way to earning their first point at home but were thwarted by a late goal in the 88th minute by Intermilokal to leave them second from bottom in the table. Intermilokal however will be pleased after picking up their first points since November 26.

In the other remaining game in Division One, LTFC 2000 extended their lead at the top of the table with a 12-0 win over local rivals Bull Allstars .

Robbie Colwell was on the scoresheet seven times, Duncan Preedy twice and goals from Pete Brown, James Dean and Towan Ravenscroft extended the score for the Ledbury outfit who remain unbeaten.

In the U18s Youth Division Tupsley Pegasus Juniors regained top spot in the table, but were made to work very hard after a spirited display from visitors Westbury 2000. Each time Tupsley scored it wasn't long before Westbury equalized as Andrew Goodall twice gave Tupsley the lead and Carl Smith on both occasions drew level, one from the penalty spot. At 2-2 in the 85th minute this game was looking likely to remain that way until a late penalty for the home side gave them the three points through Paul Harvey.

A re-arranged fixture at Campden Town saw the home side record their second win of the season against Kempsey by 1-0 which sees them move off the bottom of the table.
